I am re-installing the game. Do I need any updates other than the latest one?

Solved. I see that it is a comprehensive patch.

Yep, the latest patch is all you need. Don't forget to go into configuration and set you resoltuion, and once in the game, check the options to make sure they are set the way you want them.

Also set where you want to send your PBEM turns if you are going to play the game against an opponent.
