Any advice on minimums here guys?

It looks like I'll be hitting them late - around Sept 41.

I figure the minor Axis allies can populate a lot of the south but was wondering what would be considered as some minimums as the Germans ?

Right now, for Germany, I have the following lined up to start Barbarossa:

6 Armies
22 Corps
6 Tank units
2 Mechanized
2 Airborne
5 HQs
6 Fighters
6 Bombers

Tech - Advanced Air 3 / Infantry - 2 / Advanced Tanks - 2

Does this seem reasonable ?

Or am I way off base to kick this operation off ?

You should be fine, if you are playing the AI. After you play a few times, you will learn to tweak your forces to fit your playing style.
If you are going to play PBEM, read some after-action reports to get an idea of the tactics people use.

Thanks Markiss.

A lot of the AARs use the sprites as opposed to NATO counters and only show pieces of the front so it's hard to get a feel for what folks are deploying and where at the beginning of the campaign.

Greece is about to fall and most of my line is complete - so time to plunge into the unknown.

I probably won't miscalculate Soviet strength any worse than the German High Command did - so into the fray we go !

Good luck Donczirr.
Be sure to cut off and kill all of the high-value border units on the first turn, otherwise they will get pulled back and reinforced. He is weakest the first few turns, so push hard and don't worry about counter attacks too much yet.
