Status: offline 		There is an event that allows us to pay $50 to upgrade the St. Nazaire port after the fall of France to allow new ship deployment. The upgrade actually downgrades the port so we can no longer bring subs there to refit so the upgrade makes the port useless.

The port is in an excellent location and would be very useful as a major port.

Status: offline 		The upgrade should increase the Port's potential maximum strength to 10.

However, the British will then have a chance to destroy the port by raiding it, and depending on how successful it is it either badly damages the port, or renders it totally unusable, just as they did in real life. I think this may well have been the case here?

Status: offline 		Oh okay so maybe commandos wrecked it. I got some popups about their raids along the coast a few times.
