When your tactical system is perfected, I can see that it might not be too hard to switch over to a 3D version of the game as current hardware limitations disappear (for doing things as in-depth as the tactical system is.) The basics would all be worked out and all you'd have to do is the 3D eye candy stuff.

This game really has promise.
