So there would still be recruits coming in and there would be slight supplies of arms getting through as japan couldn't cover every inch of china...

Is it reasonable that those replacements magically appear in India if that's where the Chinese units happen to be?

The Japs still have a garrison requirement for all major cities which is one way to account for recruits coming in.
