sweep mission over lucknow
42 zero and 53 oscar fighters met 12 lysander and 40 hurris
32 hurris and 10 lysanders shot for a price of 20 oscars and 1 zero
his exp pilots seems to be dead now

If Sneer trys that little trick again he will be cut to pieces.

I'm still looking at all of the new toys that the allies start getting. I would prefer to wait till '43 before I make a move, but still on my arse is not in my nature

luckily for Raver weather prevented strike- i'll hunt it tomorrow - it can't escape far - 3 old asw DD were sunk

1st carrier division raided Palmyra tody after recon showed that Raver uses this route to move transports
he was very lucky yesterday as clouds prevented my strike
again it looks like TK will be hit
i think I can push sunk number to 40
it is interesting how many are on allied side 100?150?200?
is it possible to slow allied pace by sinking TK ???
he obviously will need a lot of fuel later

Sneer missed the troop transports by 2 weks......yeah more AKs and TKs hit, but the really important ships....the APs are still intact. As the allied player you can never seem to get enough APs........AKs and TKs are a dime-a-dozen. Must say that the naval search are really letting me down.....I've got 8 squadrons on Naval serch and the first that I know about jap carriers is when they are hitting me.

few DMS will join losses list
which is good as limits Raver's ability of sneak bombardment attacks

What is perimeter like in South Pacific?

Do you hold Canton Island, Luganville? ...or are those bases in allied hands.

south pacific is abandoned by allied troops but in allied hands - Raver allowed me to take it as he knows he cann't defend it and I can go for it with 3+ div force any time I want- at this moment I don't want - I may want if I see troops there :-)
all incoming troops are either stored in OZ or in NZ
central pacific- canton seems to built up slightly -seabeeses + probably some CD and INF units
palmyra not
my position in pacific is 100% historical besides I owe all NG
and it will be much stronger than original at right time

It's interesting that Raver got those Bostons to fly unescorted. That isn't supposed to happen. They must have had very high experience, and even then, it's still strange.

It is amazing what a good "You country needs you now" talk will do for pilot morale.

no action again
Raver's chinase troops abandoned Ichang and Homan yesterday and I got confirmation from Recon planes
Sian troops number increased from 21 to 38
there are 2 possibilities
either it is troops dislocation and new defence line will be based on Yangtze River and Sian Ichang and Homan will be left for Japan without fight
or Raver is desperate to take Kungchang & Lanchow back or even want threaten Yenan
we will see
Red alert for China I'm ready to fight

Yellow alert for India - tank unit was seen south of Lucknow as Raver left forts with 4 units

One of the reason I left Lucknow was temporary empty manpower pool as in same time I got 4 inf div now I will gladly fight for attrition
especially I have reserves in rear bases and doubt Raver will be able to match them in 42
now I have both manpower and armament at 40k and rising so enemy is welcome

pilot program in china brings visible result
in a week time I should have all participants back at 75 exp

quite a lot of us subs were moved to palmyra/canton region
what was a date of us torp change ???

BB Yamato is in service from few days and heading operations area - info released from war information center.

Where are Raver's 4E bombers ??? Probably it is the only question i have every turn now
I have my air force dispersed as much as I can until I get info about them

homan will be taken tomorrow
Ichang has half previous garrison
southern cities also has reduced garrisons
maybe chinase troops will decide to leave china ???
big UK offensive on Burma + attack from Yunan direction - who knows
looks like there will be big allied offensive in asia - hopefully I'm ready - invested a lot of supplies in fortifications in china front cities and bought few units from Kwantung army
I did not know my air offensive was as much successful
but looks like Raver spent lot of supplies on fortifications and rebuilding industry and troops supply is in red now

Dear readers daily aar combat reports seem to be published often
no more of quiet trench war
RAVER IS ON OFFENSIVE IN NORTH CHINA
target is in Kungchang as I expected - 38 units spotted noth of Sian
if he can take it and lanchow it would double his supply production
air fleet alerted
reinforcement on their way
Homan and Yenan troops alerted
additional supply sent from Home Islands
Kungchang is at fort 6 now and troops are prepped for guests Yenan at fort 9 as well as most of front bases
BTW looks like Palmyra is closed for few days - pity Tsugaru was too far away during my raid

Actually Sneer's targeting of Chinese oil and resources has been painfully effective. I am opening an offensive in China for economic reasons only I fear it is doomed to fail.

Yes but the question is what are you going to do with all those units from China once you have conquered China?????????????

china area units will secure asia / burma / malaya - it will let me concentrate on holding India by Southern army and DEI/PI by newly created units
probably airforce will be bought out of HQ as well as all eng rgts and art units
I estimate I will have 25 free units beside of garrison duties - 10-15 will keep forts in china and 10 will go to mentioned locations - I will not attack russia in 43 - suicide for my industry

front news -calm - I try to bomb out sian as I estimate that any surplus supply is moved to this city

Guests expected in Kungchang in 2 days
assault in 3
I should have forts at 7 till that day
homan army in the field to prevent Raver from commiting too many troops to this attack
subs activity in central pac - I consider sending 2-3 hunter groups together with 1-2 spotting CS groups - of course all in Betty's range just to be secure from Raver's CV if he decides to hurt me a bit from precious assets
Raver uses railway from Lucknow to Bombay to move forces south India but I doubt he wants to test Jamshadpur direction
BTW where is "golden slipper " operation ?- over month has passed and I noticed nothing what could be offensive in nature
looks like after few early war counterattacks Raver is extremaly defense-oriented
