They did a reprint of it a few ago (in a trade paperback). I think i got one from Amazon, although it was a lot more expensive than the original (which was $1.95 back in 1970 or so...)

ooooh - i just checked Amazon, and find the same guy apparently also did parodies of The Hobbit and The Silmarilion, and they are selling them together called:

Cardboard Box of the Rings : The Soddit', 'the Sellamillion', 'Bored of the Rings (Hardcover) by Adam Roberts, Harvard Lampoon

GF shares this policy...she took a Nanny job when she was in her Summer of 16. The experience so scarred her that she's vowed to never have children! Woman after my own heart.

I think every 15-16 year old girl should be required to spend one summer month nannying to give them a taste of what motherhood is like outside of the romance books...i'm betting unwanted teen pregnancy would drop 80%!!

Castaway? Is that a TV show. Since they took Buffy, X-Files and Star Trek off the air, there is nothing on TV worth my time...except football.

Tom Hanks movie.....stranded on an island with a soccer ball........named Wilson.

I agree with you on TV.

1. Battlestar Galactica
2. American Football (College variety)
3. Rest-of-the-world Football (Mostly English variety)
4. Play WitP

Go Gunners!

i think it was a volleyball. They had about 12 of the things, all made up to look the same, except the face wasn't put on with consideration of the pattern on the ball. It varies from scene to scene...

Wilson, of course, is also the name of the company that makes sport equipment (like volleyballs...)

EDIT - i *think* the scars are from breach/forceps delivery, but, i really can't remember...
