Status: offline 		If it has an American flag, it can't be a regular PT boat. It doesn't seem to have the midmounted AA or fore or rear mounted heavy machine guns usually on the US ships.

It could be a subchaser I suppose, I can't find any decent images to compare with though...

Status: offline 		It looks like a Baglietto torpedo boat used by the Finns (called Taisto class) and Italians (fourth series of 500 class)

I dabbled in presenting pics for the community to identify. But the folks that browse these forum are just too sharp for me. I gave up after a dozen or so attempts.

its Italian Torpedo Boat MAS 528 on Lake Ladoga, USSR sometime between June and November of 1942
