Ain't that the truth. It did get me a full time job before I came home from my deployment. My boss sent me an email asking if I wanted a job. I said yes without even knowing what it was.

I learned a long time ago to screw up any task my wife gives me. Eventually she will get fed up and just do it herself and leave me alone to play on the computer. Feigned incompetence can be a real life saver!

Ooohh... too close to home.

My wife used to ask me questions about all kinds of stuff... if i didn't know the answer, i might spend hours, days or weeks trying to figure it out. i'd finally answer the question - only to be "rewarded" by another question shortly thereafter.

i finally figured the best solution was to answer "i dunno" and look disinterested. Now she always gets this faintly p1ssed off look when i do it, but it saves me HOURS and HOURS of time...

I get the same the from GF mkI. She asks me all kinds of questions that always seem to lead to another question, usually when I am most distracted with something else. I think she has an internal sensor that goes off anytime I am really busy that says, "Warning, he's not paying attention to me...Warning...Danger."

You dont know how good you have it. Mine thinks she knows everything about everything. Me saying anything to the contrary of what she knows to be true by divine osmosis is automatically taken as a challenge to her authority. In the face of that, I have gotten very good at the "yes, dear" thing.

My friends ask me when I got so whipped. I'm not whipped, I'd just rather spare myself the pain and skip the argument.

Several Starbucks in the immediate vicinity, and yet another one building about 2 miles from here (i think).

Time to move Robert. The whole reason our ancestors invented"Civilization" was to get away from the critters with teeth and fangs.

My wife talked up this snake business to her girlfriend who had just bought a new digital camera. So they camped out with lawn chairs and her girlfriend snapped over 300 photos of these poisonous snakes...

She took them to Ritz photo, and the people there started asking her who was going to kill them. They freaked out when she replied she didn't know who would or if there were any immediate plans...

If I saw anything more threatening than a deer or bunny in my backyard I would be packing my bags.

Where is this little peice o' heaven you call home? I am deathly afraid of snakes so I want to make sure I never go there.

I'll stay here in Jersey with the gangs, pollution, and corruption.

New Jersey had a contest to determine our new tourism slogan. "New Jersey, we will win you over" won.

I liked "New Jersey, yeah, it always smells like that" and "New Jersey, what are you looking at?" better.
