One of my co-workers has a patented response to any question, "Do you want the NJ answer or do I have to tell you nicely?".

If I saw anything more threatening than a deer or bunny in my backyard I would be packing my bags.

Where is this little peice o' heaven you call home? I am deathly afraid of snakes so I want to make sure I never go there.

I'll stay here in Jersey with the gangs, pollution, and corruption.

Well, i dunno, i figure poisonous snakes, nasty insects, and wild coyotes and bobcats are less threatening and annoying than the usual neighbors i've had in the past... i will admit every once in a while it DOES give me pause.

The town i'm in is called Copper Canyon - not terribly large, so it is not on most maps. It's about 20 miles N of Dallas.

Bah! The only view of the Nile you'll get is on the post cards you'll be able to buy in POW camp PX...

Ah - well, long story made short: the company i was hired to work for is effectively being destroyed by another company with whom we were supposed to be cooperating. What the heck is supposed to happen after that is currently unknown.

The execution, er, announcement is to at 1:00 or maybe 2:00 p.m. Central time (conflicting announcements have been made).

I heard a local politician once argue for more solar power, even solar powered airplanes. That's when I realized that our public science education program had utterly failed.
