Message from the Empire of Japan to the United States:-

You have suffered a major defeat at Manila and your last strong hold has fallen. You no longer have a grip in asia. Japan generously offers peace and an end to hostilities. Will you accept the terms

Philipines + Wake will remain in the hands of Japan.

End of hostilities

(United States ignores Message)

but later sends NUTS

Stage 1 complete

With the fall of Manila and the last strong hold of Bataan forts. Japan controls nearly all of the PI. US naval fleets can no longer base combat operations except using neutral ports. However this could provoke Japan if those countries allow such actions.

What are the stage 2 Plans

With the fall of PI, Japan is waiting for the response of the United States. Japan knows that Wake island is key for holding of the US and is bracing for a full on attack soon.

What are Japans options now?

1) Expand into China, secure key port locations to prevent US or possible chinese aggression.
2) Head east to central pacific and meet the US head on, perhaps for the battle of Pearl Harbour.
3) Hit the common wealth, Singapore and Hong kong and perhaps india to delay future aggression from the United Kingdom.
4) Hit russia

It's funny to see you quickly turn the tables on the same opponent. I remember last time how he stalled out taking manilla before you finally kicked his behind!
I rotate into checking out AAR's ever few months glad to see you back at it. If you're worried about neutral ports take Hong Kong. It starts with a pathetic garrison. Send some subs in to get a count of ships in port. if you land quick enough you can take the port and then make him scuttle anything he has there. That would put the US and UK off balance. After that take Shanghai its a very valuable city too for the chinese. Russias pretty weak too just make sure whoever you strike it wont bring everyone else in aganist you. so maybe russia first that shouldnt bring anyone else into the battle aganist you.

I'd vote for an attack on Hong Kong and Singapore just to provide security for an advance into China to obtain the mainlands resources.  At the same time take Wake and Guam, the same task force ought to be able to occupy both, then start digging in on the Pacific Islands making the American forces pay dearly for their advance.  If there is only limited opposition try to grab Baker, Makin etal.

Hope that American public will demand an end to the war when the casualty lists get long!
