ORIGINAL: JRyan (1) yes it is a windows app now, fully. No more DOS commands......My understanding is that it will NOT run under DOS, but requires windows, be it 95, 98, or XP. (2) Well the game will basically take everything you can give it, but for a server, I would look at the official requirements. The Bandwidth is the key, a modem is just on the edge whist a high speed be it Cable or DSL should offer more than enough. Indeed H3 will not run under DOS, it requires DirectX for one ;) What I've found for server follows JRyan well, 1GB of RAM is great but 512MB will be plenty as well as long as you aren't running too much other garbage in the background. As for bandwidth usage, I was seeing about 125kb/s for each connected player under most circumstances. We did small 4 player scenarios on a 1.8GHz processor with no trouble at all.
