Status: offline 		One aspect to think about is that you want your theatre HQ in a base that is well supplied. If not, your squadrons at other undersupplied bases will not receive any replacements. I try to keep my theatre HQ in a base that is malaria free, so that I can send battered ground units there to rebuild after a tough campaign.

In RL, SWPAC jumped to Hollandia on the way to the PI.

Status: offline 		Air squadrons get replacements if in range of the main HQ, even if their own base is below 20k supplies.
This is the main advantage.

A secondary one is that the base will draw lots of supplies. It can be helpful sometimes.

I always move the Australian or the SWPAC to Darwin.
Leaving the other one at Townsville.
