It occurs to me that while I'm trying to avoid doing more work, and while the rest of you are waiting for the next screenshots to be posted, we might as well challenge each other at Civil War trivia. I've been saving questions that I came across while doing research for the game. To whit:

What Civil War general was killed by an exploding shell while trying to fix a design flaw in the artillery piece that bore his name?

Obviously, you shouldn't hesitate to post your own questions.

How many major land engagments did the Marine Corps Brigade participate in?

Bonus question for all you fellow Marine's out there.
Name the two confederate coastal forts the special amphibious battalion landed from sea, and took possession of, in 1861?

Hmmmmm, I knew Howard (Key's grandson) was imprisoned for treason in Fort McHenry, but I did not know he was shot and killed by a Union General. So, please do tell?

I remember something about an officer shooting his commander or vice-versa around the time of Perryville in the AoO. Can't remember the name.

Major-General Daniel Sickles

I could be wrong, but was it not key's son rather then grandson?

I'm sorry, I misspoke - it was actually Key's son Philip Barton Key who was shot by Dan Sickles in 1859 in Lafayette Park, across from the White House. Key had been having an affair with Sickle's wife, and the murder trial set a precedent with the first use of the insanity defense. His defense attorney was none other than Edwin Stanton, who later became Lincoln's Secretary of War.

Sickles is one of my favorite Civil War figures. You won't find a more colorful character.
