In the west my two divisions in Missouri just slipped by the entire Union Army. I'm sending them to capture more Provinces. Von Dorn after Osage and Branch after Rolla.

I'm then sending in the AOT to try and engage this darn army. They have yet to see combat because battle has repeatedly been avoided. Their numbers are exaggerated. I'm guessing they are more around 60,000 men.

Ewell's Division heads further into Kentucky, to Appalachia.

In the east things are growing even more confusing. The ANV failed to move at all, so let's hope they move this time.

Garnett just missed an attack from a large Union force of approx 30,000 men and is now starting a siege at Pittsburgh.

The ANV is coming up again, more surely this time, to attack Erie. I have upgraded one of the Artillery units to an Ordnance Rifle which should be extremely useful. It has depleted most of my resources but it is worth it.

In Cumberland the 30,000-40,000 man Corps has come over. He looks extremely disorganized and didn't even manage to engage my Corps there.

Overview:

The ANV and AOT are shifted a little down on the map because they are stacked on top of other forces.

My Economy is still pretty much the same. My Diplomacy stays the same.

I'm building a Mint to increase Money production and a Camp to increase reinforcements in Mobile. I'm also building a Plantation in Lynchburg to increase Building slots and production.

I have a choice for two Upgrades, here's the first one for Engineering:

I choose Fortification Techniques which should give me an edge over siege battles.

For the Naval Upgrade I go with Naval College which should help out with my navy when I start building new ships.

That ends the turn. I finished my two new raiders who have now been sent out to cause damage. All three of them are set to Destroy Supplies, a lot!

Events 3/3

My Sieges continue. Cumberland has almost fallen, one more turn and it's mine. Two at the most. My siege at Pittsburgh didn't start out the best, let's hope it improves.

Many battles are being avoided, which is growing tiresome.

My raiders were mostly successful in their destruction of supplies. I lost my Raider in the east, unfortunately.

Diplomacy is finally rising! 2 Support from England and Other Europeans which is great news.

Alabama now supports Conscription so if I ever need troops quickly I can do it safely in Alabama without losing support.

My Runners failed to pick up anything. However now with the increased support I have some more options, I'm going after some more weapons.

In the west things are getting difficult. The Union army is sending everything into Missouri now. Harsh weather is already striking so I can't get the AOT over there. I'm going to leave them where they are for now, and try to capture Paducah. The two divisions will try to cause further damage and get out of there if they can.

Meanwhile Ewell is going across Kentucky taking provinces with no resistance.

In the east I am pushing them back. I'm sending the ANV over to continue the rampage in Pennsylvania and try to attack the enemy.

My plan is too eventually surround the rest of the scattered AOP into Annapolis.

However, I feel very uncomfortable with the large amount of Union troops near the 4th Corps. He is very vulnerable and although the siege is almost finished and I might just be paranoid, I'm going to move them away temporarily. I'm sending them down by rail to Grafton then Monongahela and finally on foot to York. If I turn out being wrong they can at least attack the small force there and capture the province.

Now that my diplomacy is rising my economy should rise soon.

To further increase money production I'm building a Mint in both Natchez and Mobile.

During the winter I will be able to lower my upkeep going to supplies so I can get some proper production going. I'm just hoping this though, it's possible we may have to continue fighting because of the large portion of territory I'm taking.

My Siege at Pittsburg is going at a more steady rate now.

The Siege at Cumberland didn't even manage to finish off the rest of the garrison before I left.. Arg.

Stole some weapons and finished a good deal of buildings this turn.

The AOT got hit by Disease but it wasn't too bad.

My Diplomacy support went down for england but up for Other Europeans. Mixed feelings, let's hope it stays positive.

My Runners got a good sum of 40 weapons this turn. I'm sending them off to get even more.

In the west I managed to get Van Dorn's division out of there. However now Branch is trapped at Westport. I'm going to try and sneak them through Black River then Crowley's Ridge and eventually Mephis to garrison it again.

I'm moving the AOT back the Cumberland River to build up further. The Artillery is almost done and I've started training another Corps container to join it. Ewell continues through Kentucky. I'm going to start a slow siege on the Kentucky Capital soon to try and scare the Union army back to the river.

Whoa! The 4th Corps just evaded a big counter-attack by the Union forces. The Union made a major attack with 100,000 men at Cumberland and I was smart to move them away.

I'm now bringing down the ANV to Ohio River to contest with this new force. I'll finish up this siege then see if we can pick a fight. I've transfered most of the 4th Corps over to the ANV however I am sending them off with about 20,000 men to do some damage in Ohio. I'll also try to get them down to the AOT so that they will have a second Corps container.

I should probably upgrade my weapons but I can't be arsed with undoing about 100 actions of reorganizing the ANV.

Ending the turn I get to choose a new Weaponry upgrade. I go with the Spencer Guns since I really need to get up to balance with my Weapons. No doubt the Union has a large array of Springfields' and Spencers'

My Raiders are set to cause Economic damage.

I really need to get an Academy soon so I can get some more promotions.

Events 3/3

My Siege drags on. However because the whole ANV has arrived I expect them to take the city this turn.

I managed to get Branch's Division out of there and he ran into a Cavalry brigade and took it's flags and 20 horses. My raiders have less to worry about now, nice!

I was successful in my Economic Damage but I lost another raider. I have enough horses so I'm building another in Richmond.

The AOT was hit AGAIN by disease. This is becoming frustrating. It hasn't killed that many but it is lowering my disposition.

My Diplomacy is starting to pay off. Other Europeans just sent me 28 Iron.

My Blockade Runners were also very successful and managed to grab some more Iron and Horses. I'm sending them out to get some more Weapons which I will be needing when I upgrade my units up to Spencer Guns.

In the west Branch's Division made it out without a scratch. He also took out a whole Cavalry brigade.

I'm going to take this opportunity to take some more provinces and then rejoin my forces into the AOT. I'm going to leave Ewell to besiege Kentucky's Capital, therefore halting resources from this city and possibly split up the Union army and bringing them back to the river.

The AOT has yet to see battle. However I'm not going to go on an aggressive rampage against the Union army so I'm going to sit tight and see what happens.

In the east I'm not sure what the Union army has done. I think they have headed to Harrisburg thinking the ANV was going to stay at Allegheny. Sorry AOP, I'm at Pittsburgh getting ready to take it with an aggressive attack. I expect to take it. I'm bringing up a Garrison from a fort that didn't need two garrisons.

I've been getting a lot of generals so I'm also transferring a lot of less-than-qualified generals to help man forts and cities.

The 4th Corps is moving to Wheeling to try and take it by siege. I want this city back if at all possible. They shouldn't have a hard time since the AOP will probably focus on the ANV.

My economy is really starting to pick up now. My Diplomacy seems to be fine as it is so I'm going to leave it.

All I'm building this turn is a Plantation in Raleigh to increase building slots.
