This has happened to me both times I've run the full campaign. The games freezes on the 1/1/49 turn.

I had to alt-cntrl-del and exit 1848 from Task Manager. I'll try restarting from the autosave to see it that works.

OK, so I restart from the last saved turn, can move units & conduct battles, but when I click for next turn the game goes into an endless "clock" loop. Once again, I had to exit the game from Windows Task Manager.
