darossi, Actually, no. Before I prepared a reply, I ran the process myself, just to be sure my memory was correct. Just because, I started a replay association beginning 1905: - I went to New Game and was taken to the Select Game Style screen.
- I selected Real Major League Players - Career Mode and then scrolled down to 'Start replay in 1905'
- After selecting continue, I was given the opportunity to choose which, if any, teams I wanted to run myself. As Marlins weren't around then, I instead chose my friend's favorite team; the Cubs.
- I kept the 35-player roster, since I'm not planning on playing this association out all the way. I also left most of the settings alone, except for Player Affinity which I turned ON and I removed the year designation from the players' names-- I dislike that. The Player Generation Models section has, by default, the "Seed Association with Real..." box checked.
- After clicking on Continue, the game starts to Import players and rate them. Scouts then evaluate talent and once that's all done, I'm taken to the Home screen.
- From here, on the upper left-hand corner is the option to Click here to load rosters from 1905. I click on that and the game, all by itself, starts populating teams with their proper, respective players.
- Once that's all done, it's time to go through Spring Training.
- From there, it's like any other association...
