The Japanese Prime Minister's State of the Emipe address:

My fellow sons of Nippon,

The state of the Empire is strong!

Despite their claims of neutrality, our neighbor to the north, the Russian Empire, has been engaged in treachery against the peaceful people of Japan.

Our German allies have provided us with intelligence photos that show that Joseph Stalin himself has met with out enemies in Casablanca and Teheran. Papers captured from the Chinese bandits at Chungking showed that the Russian were supplying the Chinese terrorists in 1941 and early 1942 before their lines of communication were cut by our forces. Additionally, our spies have collected information that the Russians are working on a weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD).

Yesterday, one of our tank units attempted to inspect a suspected WMD site and was denied access by Russian troops.

We do not have any issue with the Russian people but with their tyrannical leadership.

Therefore, today I am giving this ultimatum to the Russian government:

Joseph Stalin and his sons must leave the Soviet Union before July 31st and the suspected WMD sites must be opened for inspection.

If these demands are not met a coalition of the willing consisting of Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Burmese, Thai, Mongolian, and free Chinese troops are prepared to force their way into Russia to inspect these sites.

Some may say that our armed forces are already overstretched and that such an attack would cause our war on Imperialism to suffer. I assure you that our troops are up to the task. Our enemies are in the last throws of their resistance and have been stopped cold at Tinian and Formosa and have suffered crushing naval defeats at Battan Island and Paramushiro Jima.

We pray that Joseph Stalin will end his people’s suffering and leave the country peacefully. We expect our troops to be met with flowers by a Russian people glad to be free of tyranny.

We will not be invaders, we will be liberators.

Bless you all and long live the Emperor.

Banzai! Banzai!, Banzai!

Stalin: Prime Minister Churchill, President Roosevelt....the Japanese have launched an unprovoked war against the motherland. General Zukhow informs me that testing by WITP members concluded that our T-34 and KV-1 battle tanks are on equal terms to Japanese Type 93 tanks. This distrubs me greatly. Also it appears that our forces in the Far East are out of position, undersupplied, and the majority of our fighter planes are made of wood. The officers in charge of these issues, have been purged....errr i mean sent home. I demand that the Western Allies launch an immediate invasion of the Japanese Home Islands to alleviate pressure on the motherland.

Churchill: Mr Stalin, her Majesties Armies are in no position to invade the Japanese Home Islands at the moment. Instead i suggest we go for the soft underbelly of the Japanese Empire and futz around in the DEI and India. By the way President Roosevelt...i need a CVE and 2 DD's sent back to Scapa Flow...

Roosevelt: Dammit Churchill, i need every flattop i can get my hands on!........General Secretary Stalin our position in the Pacific has greatly improved since your we last met. We are in control of 90% of Formosa and are in the process of establishing more B-29 base's in the Mariana Island chain. We have been pounding Japanese Industry for months now. The industry in China and Kyushu is decimated. Plans are being drawn up flatten the industry in Korea, Manchuria, and Honshu. We believe we'll be able to knock out 75% of the Japanese industry in the next 6 months.

Stalin: 6 months!!! our forces won't last more than 2 months. Inteligence reports indicate we are facing nearly 1 million Japanese, nearly 3 times the size of our troops in the Far East. I need the pressue taken off now! (slams fist down)

Roosevelt: The USA is prepared to offer you 3 US Infantry Divisions that are currently stationed at Paramushiro Jima. But my generals inform me that they must remain under the command of their own officers and....

Stalin: Spies!!! we don't need anymore spies in our country!...what i need is a competent answer to my problem!

Churchill: as stated before, we Britons are in no position to attack the Japanese Empire directly. Since losing the Crown Jewel of the Empire, we have been greatly hampered in getting reinforcements to southeast Asia. The best we can offer is a diversionary offensive in our sector. Plans and preparations are already in the making, but i suppose we can hurry these up to alleviate some of the pressure on the Russians

Roosevelt: ummmm the New York Mets are on TV now.....i need to go, sorry I couldn't be more help Stalin

Stalin:....the Mets aren't even a team yet!!!!.....grrrrr

I would love to post a screen shot but I can't do so without revealing top secret information.

I control all of China and India (except for Karachi which was turned back over to the Allies so that they would still get reinforcements), the Northern PI, and all of the DEI. I have lost Formosa, the Southern PI, and most recently Tinian.

The reason for the invasion is that come August 1945 I will have to face a much stronger Russia and by then my industry will be decimated. This is a deperate act called for by desprarate times.

Here is the score to give you a rough idea of where I stand:

I can no longer win and I am trying to get a draw by holding the Allies to less than a 2:1 by 1946. If I hold this off until 08-14-45 it will be a moral victory in my mind.

We had agreed from the start to override the 1943 auto victory level of 4:1 (I had 4.26:1 on 01-01-43) and only enfoce the ones thereafter.

The best advice for the Japanese is to move their whole country to the mainland and abandon the Home Islands!!

From the Operations report: "1LT Lepchuk T. of 344th TAP bails out and is CAPTURED"

This could cause a problem if we admit that we have him in custody. Currently he has been taken to one of our secret prisons where he is being interrogated about troop dispositions inside Russia. Due to the house rule of no recon flights until shooting starts I am blind past the border. This will be an adventure to say the least.

Pagan was finally cleared after nearly a month of resistance. More medals will be given to the families of the defenders.

My secret tanker passage around OZ was finall discovered.

Takao was finally cleared out but that is the page 6 story. Top story is that brave and daring DDs of the Imperial fleet sunk 5 cowardly mine sweepers at Davao! This raid, deep in the captialist's rear area will surely be a blow to their morale.

A check my my squadrons showed that most were missing 30-40% of their pilots. Took about an hour to manually bring them up to strength.

Kenny reports missing pilots too so it looks like we both gotten bitten by a bug. Since we were both effected we have called it a wash and will play on.

Allied CVs are on the move. They raided Marcus Is today and remain in the area. Are they foolish enough to approach the HI?
