No...ok did anyone here had any problems while PBEM with CHS... I mean loading games...

in the word of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: DON'T PANIC!!!

Yes, i've noticed more problems with loading games since going to CHS - the other day, it took 8 attempts - but it is problem with downloading!

it took 8 attempts, but i downloaded the same file each time, and eventually it loaded!! Many times it takes 2-3 attempts for a good download.

First - DELETE ANY OLD FILE that you might be overwriting.
Second - REBOOT before downloading. Seems to help for some reason.

This does the trick (usually)... Some people have stated about 3% of game files are corrupted in transmission, so there is always that chance, but try again before getting a retransmission.

Yes, it is getting a tad soggy here... when it rains here now (several times per day lately) - the soil is saturated... the water stands in the yard, and floods the roads when it starts to run off.

Also the most dangerous day of the year to be on the road. Coincidence?

1989, the year I left for my first deployment on that beauty over there, to my left.

I graduated High School that year...

Looks like '89 was a pretty good year. The day before we returned home to Norfolk onboard USS America, the Berlin Wall fell. At that point our job was finished.

Good year for me too. I graduated college and started the police academy. Only 7 years, one month, and 10 days until I can retire. (2 years, one month, and 10 days if they really piss me off and I go at 20)
