The new 'Retreat all units' button is helpful but it seems that you can repeatedly hit this button during your turn to retreat all your units completely off the board. I haven't tried this in multiplayer yet.

I think it is not a bug, it give you a chance to turn back and fight the battle again.

I think the bug is you have unlimited movement points when using the Retreat all button. It should only use the movement points your units have then you would have to hit the next turn button. The enemy should have the opportunity to shoot at you when your running away :-)

It looks like it is the same function the AI uses. I often wondered how the AI could run away so fast. Once the AI 'breaks' you can't catch up to them which is why I'm a firm believer in flank, flank, flank :)

What he said. They should fix this.

When the AI does it, it always seemed to me like they just got one extra turn of movement so you could never catch them even if you started the turn adjacent to them. Perhaps they should also put a 'general advance' command for the attacker to use when the enemy has broken.

Thanks for reporting, will be fixed in the next patch. Including the AI cheat. At least now you can cheat like the AI
