Status: offline 		By the way, Roger, I'm writing this while sitting on your side of "the pond," in Oxford. I'm here for a conference. I must say that after several weeks of 90-95 degrees in St. Louis, this cooler British weather is almost a miracle to me.

I spent a week in Michigan back at the beginning of August and I felt much the same way you do. It was a nice break after 4 months of summer!

I might as well mention that the dining hall at Christ Church where I'm having breakfast and lunch each day is the same one used to film part of the dining scenes set at Hogwarts (with the rest of those shots being made in a replica).

I'm not sure what the answer is, but I'm beginning to suspect that reading nothing is better than having Gil describe his holiday meal Regimen.  Sorry, but I am the jealous type.

Status: offline 		Yeah, I'm here tp see if an April '61 scenario will ever be done.  Rationalizing a November start after 1st Bull Run and Missouri's forced adherence to the Union will NOT be part of my reviw.

Having said that, I thought a patch did have an earlier start date option.  Was I dreaming?

A July, 1861 scenario has been in the game since the first release. The most historical version in the latest update is the Coming Fury (Historical) scenario - that's a July, 1861 start. The Southern Steel is the November, 1861 Historical and the Standard Campaign is the November, 1861 'Balanced'. There are no current plans for an April, 1861, but we're working on a 1863 scenario.

Status: offline 		No problem. As long as you've applied the latest official update (or the latest public beta) you should have the Coming Fury (Historical), which is the earliest historical start.

Status: offline 		FWIW, while the game is loading you should see the version number in the top right hand corner. If it doesn't match the latest, I highly recommend grabbing the latest official or beta update as each has some very significant improvements.

As has been mentioned in another thread, some people for some reason have the OLD versions of the July scenario left in their systems, even though the installer should have deleted those. So, definitely be sure to look for "Coming Fury (Historical)" (as Erik mentioned) or "Coming Fury (Balanced)" (as I believe it's called; I'm overseas and can't check the precise name myself).

By the way, please note that the cities in riverine provinces (e.g., Little Rock) now have their names provided when one mouses over them, as per your suggestion a while back.
