The 1812 Overature with the cannon finale.......what the hell else could a truly dedicated wargamer possibly be listening to, except perhaps the Ride of the Valkries?

hmmm, then again...I do sometimes enjoy the William Tell Overature as a background to my tank formations tearing into the enemy...

On a weekly basis I listen to some;

Creme
Robin Trower
Crosby Stills Nash & Young
Led Zeppelin (this evening)
Charlie Daniels
Jethro Tull
CCR

I appreciate classical, country, bluegrass, and some of that new age stuff. I just like classic rock a little more.

Well, tonight I was watching a replay of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame gig.

I caught John Mellencamp and The Dave Clark 5 inductions.  Pretty cool.

It's too bad the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame often bites the soggy sock.

No Electric Light Orchestra?  No Cheap Trick?  No Heart?  No Rush?  No Moody Blues?

What gives?

Sorry Paul - I find David Gray gets boring very quickly.

I like Calexico and Ryan Adams quite a bit. Actually, quite a lot of what we'd call Americana. Plus some post rock stuff - nothing weird. Just things like Explosions in the Sky.

I did notice someonesay the name "Yanni"  earlier, without being ill.

I was ill on their behalf.

Right now I am listening to Ballroom Blitz by Sweet and Talk Dirty to Me by everyone's favorite, Poison.

BTW, if you all have never heard of Audiosurf, you should check it out. Very entertaining way to listen to music!

If youre feeling down depressed and lonely
I know a place where we can go
22 acacia avenue meet a lady that I know
So if youre looking for a good time
And youre prepared to pay the price
Fifteen quid is all she asks for
Everybodys got their vice

Maiden were the nuts when they had Di'Anno at the helm. Went downhill after they swapped him for Dickinson

Disagree, both had their own style but Maiden as we all know is all Steve Harris.
Bruce developed into a great front man IMHO.
