with him Croatia may have had a chance to reach the semi-finals or beyond.

I don't. They made their money and they made their choices, no-one made them act like they did...

Yes, with him we should have a chance, at least.

As for Vinnie and Geogrge, hey, they were intersting!

BTW, Swift, we won . And i'm talking about soccer, not skiing

Hi all,

Victory is what counts but after first 30 minutes I simply don't understand what happened in player's heads to start "juming the play" and inseatd of passing on ground started to play with long and balls... very strange... thus very bad last 60 minutes...

Yeah, lucky. Honestly i don't know why our team stop playing the game after first 30 minutes... it is not going to be good if Croatia continue with stuff like that.

congrats to the teams of Croatia and Germany!!!

I was somewhat disappointed by the Austria vs Croatia game.....( I did bet on a 3:1 victory for Croatia....)
and I was surprised by the strength of the German team.

and there was enough police presence in Klagenfurt to stop any major outbreaks of our not always loved northern neighbours ( so far - 23:00 local time - 140+ German fans have been arrested )

That referee in Croatia-Austria match should not be permitted to lead any more matches.

That are no fans!!

Nice game, Poland causing troubles only about 15 Minutes after Halftime. The 2nd goal settled the issue.

And if the commentary is right, every time we won our opening game, we later won the Championship

True... But he needed to drive a German car to do it and a British driver to miss a red traffic light and ram the competition off the course .

BTW, some facts about the nationality of the players question: the most successful German strikers were born in Poland and are now German nationals. In view of this, the Polish Football Association is now trying to convince some 65 junior players born in Poland and living in Germany to declare themselves to be Polish.

Dammit! I don't get the channel that shows F1 at my house, so a friend burns it onto a DVD for me... I'm very careful to stay away from F1 websites and threads so that I can watch the recorded race as if it was live, and now someone messes me up...

Cant wait for the game against Austria today. Unfortunatly, due to brutal start of one English player (those Inglanders just can't admit defeat, we lost our killer striker - Eduardo...

Eduardo? Sounds really Croatian!

Vastic sounds Austrian too...

hehe! I never considered Vastic to be an Austrian! Or Korkmac...

Yes, he left Poland when he was 2 - that made him a strong nationalist for Poland
