This song is very sentimental to me, makes me cry when I hear it.
Reminds me of one of my girlfriends....
Perhaps my favorite song ever.
Love you guys!!

And here's the film's climax!

Sammy Hagar ... His best solo song IMO! Crappy animation, but still cool.

That Highwaymen clip reminds me of this great cover song:

Johnny Cash - Rusty Cage
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Af6PeBpUu3c

Johnny Cash and Tom Petty redo a Soundgarden tune ... totally different from the original feel of the song, but it works brilliantly!

Here's a Pink Floyd song about the end of things.

"As the windshield melts, and my tears evaporate ..."

Cheerful stuff.

Wow, I actually dimly remember that one! As an old-style almost country music lyric delivered in a new wave style (and video clip), it seems very jarring when seen 20+ years later! With all that facial emoting in the vid I was almost wondering if the whole thing was sincere or tongue in cheek! I guess I'm too cynical

I'm a big BOC fan, and I think their original version of this song is a little spookier, but Metallica adds a lot of muscle to it!
