congrats T - I too have lost about 25 lbs over the last year. For me, it was the change in jobs and getting back out in the field 4 or so days a week and packing a better lunch than fast food or convience sotre food.

I had a similar enlightenment about 3 years ago myself, T. Now the scale of my overweight problem was smaller but the issues were the same. Anyway, I went on the Adkins diet, lost thirty pounds, then switched to a more balanced diet that basically only gives up complex starches (potatoes, white bread, etc) and high fructose corn poison...erm syrup.
