Time, why you punish me?
Like a wave bashing into the shore
You wash away my dreams.

Terra Diablo. A Glasgow band. Their sound is rock/indie. They have had 2 albums out since 2004 - "Terra Diablo" and "Deluge Songs." Apparently they are just completing a tour of the U.S. supporting a band called Swervedriver. Their final concert is at the Chicago Metro on Monday 14th June. Then later this month it's on to Scandinavia. Check 'em out!

They were pretty big back in the 90's. Tanya Donelly from the Muses was in a spin-off band along with Kim Deal from the Pixies called The Breeders.

Iris - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szu_bHULdq4

Hellbound - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcEdzNWdkh0

Kurt Cobain quoted them as one of the most influential bands in his life.

Well I dunno about them being beautiful. You might have to wipe your glasses there mate

But they knew how to bang out a good tune. The Pixies rocked big time, I spent many a stoned out moment back in the 90's listening to them

I still have my old Pixies albums too. Surfer Rosa, Come on Pilgrim and of course Doolittle.

As far as the Breeders being Beautiful, I was picky when it came to women back in my college days. I'm 41 now and just about all college girls look beautiful to me anymore, even the ones I didn't like back then.

I'll aways remember my first few album purchases as a young lad ...

Blue Oyster Cult - Fire of Unknown Origin, ELO - Time, and Chilliwack - Opus X

All on vinyl records... then taped from my Dad's stereo turntable to cassettes!

Let's here it for Quadrophonic! (I still have my Father's old Radio Shack reciever!)

edit ... sorry this one is BOC - "Burnin' for you"
