They had a B-17G, a B-24, and a B-25 on display at the Lubbock Airport last week. While visiting I ran into and spent a good deal of time talking to a veteran who had flown as copilot the Navy version of the B-24 in the Pacific in WWII. Had some great stories to tell and it really made the visit fantastic. I'd love to see his name included.

Delbert Miller

I would like to add 2 if I could.

My Grandfather James C. Power - flew B-17s with the 100th BG
My Uncle Richard 'Red' Buhrman - flew out of africa in B-24's, I believe the 44th BG

Thanks!

Great idea!

Sarge,

Can you include Steven Sawyers as a F/S with 29 Sqn. When he was in the RAF that was one of the sqns he served with. When I played a PBEM against him he always said if he was a pilot he'd like to be on nightfighters.

Cheers

Great idea!

If it is still possible, I would like my name added.

Nick Jorgenson -  USAAF in BtR; I would prefer fighter pilot but of course bomber would be great as well.

Thanks!

or you may be surprised, all it takes is being in the right place at the right time (as long as nobody else gets the same idea)

Stuart Bruce RAAF, preferably BTR time period. (probably not possible any earlier, I don't think their were any RAAF Sqn's in the UK in 1940.)

Hi Hard Sarge,
The person you work with. Is that his/her nickname? All the members of our familiy seem to pick up the zap nickname. This could be a relative of mine. Their last name, is it ?

no, I don't think this is one of yours (in, don't know many who would want to claim him :)

his is more like

Zapasinak (of course, I think there are more letters in it, but that is how it sounds when you say it)

could tell lots of Zap stories, we had worked togeather for a long time

they normally call him Zap or Zapman

Fw. Chris Trog, II/NJG 5, flying Bf 110G-4s

Po. Phillip Zapchenk, 305 Polish Squadron, flying Mitchell II (it should be changed to Mossie FBs, but the player is going to have to do this for BTR, it is already set in BTR44)

We will know when the game is nearly finished when Hard Sarge advises that he cannot accept any more names for inclusion , as there has to be a cut off point sometime.

Well, not really :)

I can add until I get tired of adding, or I run out of slots to use

the hassle is, since it is a OOB file, the game will need a restart for the new changes to take effect

IE, I just reramped the 110s for BoB, got a new book in, with better detail info on that plane then I was able to get, so made some changes based on that

but...

Well its better that he was not one of the family, with that poor reputation.
Try me with the stories, though. I'm always a listener for a juicy story.

Thanks HardSarge for including me.

This could be the spelling Zapaznek. And yea those Zapaznek's what a crowd they are
