Found these 3 mods in other threads so figured I would put them here in one place so they are easier for others to find. HTH

Makes the camera much more useful with greater zoom level, press right mouse button and move mouse to rotate the 3D camera. Replace the values in "/Hired Guns/system.cfg" with the below values.

r_hcamera_acceleration = "200.030"
r_hcamera_auto_camera = "1"
r_hcamera_border = "10.0000"
r_hcamera_border_enabled = "1"
r_hcamera_deceleration = "200.000"
r_hcamera_fov = "0.540000"
r_hcamera_inertion = "1"
r_hcamera_max_angle = "2.00000"
r_hcamera_max_height = "50.0000"
r_hcamera_min_angle = "0.010000"
r_hcamera_min_height = "0.50000"
r_hcamera_mouse_invert = "0"
r_hcamera_mouse_speed = "100.000"
r_hcamera_rot_speed = "2.00000"
r_hcamera_speed = "100.000"
r_hcamera_zoom_acceleration = "900.000"
r_hcamera_zoom_deceleration = "900.000"
r_hcamera_zoom_speed = "0.950000"

One person suggested halving the values for this mod.

It seems like the main cause for the stamina issue is shooting so I decreased the value for single to 100 and burst to 250 in Hired Guns\basis\scripts\logic\action_cost.xml and it did the trick.

Every single NPC have 100 in stength so it is not so strange that they throw like gods. Just open up "Hired Guns\basis\scripts\logic\persons.xml" and change the strength for the NPCs (I recommend just copying their dexterity value).

It says change strength value but I can only find one instance of strength and it has no data value.

Same with dexterity, the above says make strength value the same as dexterity. This is all I find for dexterity.

Search for NPC and there are numerous entries but nothing in the block that refers to strength or dexterity.

Also, there are three different persons.xml files so I would assume one wouldf have to change the file depending on what level of skill you are playing at. There is persons.xml, persons_easy.xml and persons_hard.xml. persons.xml must refer to normal difficulty level.

I am using notepad to edit the xml files and had no trouble modifying the action_cost.xml file so why can't I find what I am supposed to edit in persons.xml? It would be appreciated if someone posted the exact string I have to edit.


Well it is over 200 NPC with 100 in strength so I guess it will be rather tedious to change with Notepad even if you find the right values. Anyway I have attached a little bug-fix that both reduces the strenght and lowers the BP cost of shooting so the mercs will stop passing out just by firing their guns and the enemies will stop throwing grenades like superhumans.
