The Rolling Stones -- "Midnight Rambler", an October 1973 performance from a radio broadcast. Intense. "Ohhhh yeah..." Got the whole show.

Afterwards will be Springsteen & the E Street Band, San Jose April 2008. Soundboard -- excellent.

You're right KG.

The live version of Midnight Rambler was awesome. Mick sounded o.k. but Keith Richards absolutely ROCKED! Love the blues and the Stones were heavily influenced by it.

good choice

Hate meditation.... intriguing concept. That term immediately brought to mind Diego Sanchez in the UFC.

A few days ago I met a young fellow at work who reminded me of this little tune By Ernie Ford. This fellow had never heard of it-I was shocked. I wonder how many other disadvantage young whipper snappers have missed out on this great tune and vocalist.

How about some Chickenfoot? Band is made up of:

Sammy Haggar on vocals
Michael Anthony (ex-Van Halen) on bass
Joe Satriani on guitar
Chad Smith (Chili Peppers) on drums

Link is to their facebook page. Music player is on left of screen about halfway down. They have three songs from the upcoming CD on the site.

Outworld

Recently picked up the out of print CD by this amazing band that only put out one CD and broke up. You can find it available by download because the CD is hard to find. I can't stop playing it! I take it out to play something else it inevitably goes back in, I can't stop!

ICP - Let's go all the way... been a while since I heard that...

Before that, the last I listened to was Bolt Thrower - No Guts, No Glory, like every morning, seeing how it serves as my alarm clock on my mobile. ;)

Edit:
Forgot it was Kindergarten day today (Abiturienten-Informationstag, but seriously, they're worse than the actual kids who showed up for the "Kinder-Uni"), so I just stuck this on repeat to brighten my mood, and to keep the collateral damage to a minimum:

Gardenian - Cut-Throat

Macbeth - Hunde wollt ihr ewig leben

It's live, and missing the repeated shouts of "Sterbt!" (die!) in the middle, but the best I could find...

Collide - Dreamsleep

Do you dream your dreams in colour?

I think I asked this already but why do you assume that everyone listens to music while playing a game? I thinkit must be a total media experience that is for the younger players rather than us old guys. I sometimes have the tv on without sound but that is it. I do not even have music on that comes with the games.
