Does moving in with the GF unit equate to putting on the Red Shirt?

If you wash said red shirt with her whites you will suffer the same fate as the guy in the red shirt on an away team

What the heck is Starblazers?

Very very old Anime. 1970's. In Japan, called "Space Battleship Yamato"

I havn't seen this since barely entering double digit age. Thank god for Netflix.

www.starblazers.com

My fisrt few rentals on Netflix were all 3 seasons. I remember it being much better when I was 10.

yeah, ok....i'll admit....its just a coincidence that when Argo/Yamato is hit, there's just damage and fire.....when Gamalon ship is hit......it blows up. I'll also admit that having a powerful REFLEX gun that nearly kills Argo/Yamato....despite being claimed as being more poweful than the WMG.....is mysteriously and completely unguarded allowing commando party to not only blow it up, but also the entire Pluto Gamalon base as well....is...well......interesting.

Still....a great trip down memory lane.

- don't wear a red shirt beaming down w/ Kirk

Case in point:

whilst it did indeed make me laugh out loud - is this not the campest pic of our 4 heroes - particularly your man Kirk, who can only be described as mincing across that barren land

All roads lead to Kirk since he is the center of the universe (At least in his own mind)

And why would ships be trailing smoke in a vaccume? Wildstar's girlfirend was hot in an anamie sort of way, escpecially when I was 10. and what is with the Dr's eye brows floating above his head?

Well, when I was at Ft. Sill, we were out in the boonies, it was dark, no little bundle of very useful tissue anywhere to be seen .......

The doctor thought it was funny, too .... every time he gave me another cortisone shot, since the damn stuff would just not go away.

Of course, NOW (40 years later) I see the humor.

BTW, I got it again 7 years later at Ft. Polk, but not the same way. One of my tanks had rolled over down into a ravine and I jumped down to help pull out the crew. Saw the stuff, but did it anyway. I had it that time for five or six months. Same routine, cortisone shots every day or two.

I find it continuously amazing how much totally off-the-subject conversation can be generated by "Sorry, Wrong Forum."   Far more interest than I've ever recieved from a real post about a serious subject.  And far more that the real one generated on the right forum...

Never spam an off topic thread. Eat your vegetables. Go to bed early. Do your chores before you go out and play. Take out the trash, empty the dishwasher, don't talk bak. Finish your book report.

And oh yeah, write a letter to your mother.

If you born in the north...."What do you think we are trying to do? Heat the outside!!!"

If you live in the south (AC is relatively new)...."What do you think we are trying to do? Cool the outside!!!"

One of my all time favorites...

"Now, don't you sass me, boy!!!" Usually said by Daddy (which meant trouble), sometimes Grandpa (which meant big trouble, because he would confer with Daddy), at the worse time, Mama (heap big trouble, she had a ping-pong paddle which left a bright red checker board imprint on each cheek!)

Don't run with scissors, don't talk to strangers (I have expanding this with my sons to include freaks, artists, and Yankees fans), don't be gamey

"And close the door when you leave the room. You weren't born in a barn!!! "

My mom used to ask "Were you raised in a barn?"

Finally when I was fourteen I had to respond "Of course not! If I had been I'd know not to leave the door open because the cows would get out!"

I forget what my punishment was on that one...
