I know it's likely quite a few of you people already know about this site, but for those of you who don't, I check in here about once every three months. Lots of interesting stuff, and maybe some mod materiel also. Nihon Kaigun

Checked out the site briefly and already found 2 inaccuracies in UV: skip bombing was not used until March, '43, and the Jap DD Tokitsukaze which was sunk in early March '43 is not present in the Feb. '43 scenario either initially or as a reinforcement. It's not even listed in the ship database. The Tokitsukaze was also present at the battle of the Eastern Solomons, Aug. 24 1942.

This one is not bad either (http://www.warships1.com/).

Ed Larner's modified B-25 squadron started training to skip bomb in Dec 42. The capability was there prior its first use in Mar 43.

(Read "Gen Kenny Reports" for details...)

That training resulted in the conclusion that the optimum altitude for skip bombing was 200 feet, not the 100 feet that UV forces you to use if you want to do skip bombing.
