We are coming up on one of my favorite holidays, right after Christmas. Nothing like BBQs, carnivals and fireworks!

I miss the college days. We used to start partying at 10, would go to the local fair at 2 and drink and eat until it was time for the fireworks = blankets in the park where you can watch the show and pass out.

Heard about this on the radio in the a.m.:

Australia (well, more properly Tasmania) produces poppies for making legal morphine... crop circles have been mysterious appearing in the protected fields... review of security has apparently shown that wallabies have been breaking in, consuming the poppies, getting "high as a kite" and then hopping around in circles!
