Eric, you can't help being French.  Maybe one day you'll learn to cope with your 'disability', but until then we're willing to help you manage

Thanks for your help, you silly neighbor-although-thousand-year-ennemy-friend .

Ah, my two favorite people, except, of course for Mike, Mike, Don, Bobo, Dixie, Toe-boy, Log-boy, Leo, Gladiatt, Rogue, Went, Sprior, and everybody else.

Wow, i could'nt think i would be on the list of the good boys.
I usually feel so new on this forum, so dumb with computer, so childish and selfish about my personality, so ignorant about the subjects debated here, so stubornly proud of being french, so wrong-speaking english (and sometimes french ), so "looser" within my PBEM, that i feel i must thanks, even if this post was not about my at the beginning (wich of course i can undertand). Thanks JWE.
Eric

Wasn't it Thomas Jefferson who saied: "Every man with culture has two fatherlands: His own and France".

Nice country, indeed - and beautiful women...

Well, i have no merrit (grrr, word ?????) from being french, i didn't choose when and where to born.
As for women....we try to keep them

At least, you aren't from europe, right

As an englishman, i think Dixie is in Europe...but without being in it, but being a small part of it but not within.....;
Sorry, it's a bit of an old joke in France...it's coming as far as General De Gaulle.
I don't want to ignite any political debate here.....

Afaik, the English always say: "They in Europe" - they don't consider themselves to be in Europe

Too right old boy. I spent a couple of weeks on a German exchange trip when I was a lad. The family I was staying with couldn't believe how much tea I drank. Or how strong I brewed it.

My 'local' food is Cornish pasties and Devon cream tea or Lincolnshire sausages and plum loaf. Not at the same time though

I guess it's for good reason that the one thing is called worldwide "ménage à trois", right? It's not accidental that it's in french
