I saw Raver snooping around the forum the other day. Nice to see the old timers coming back for more.

Enjoy them while you can. My youngest of three moved back to Tampa last year, the house is just to quiet now.

You’re in the best part mate… wait till they grow-up (twenty now) and join the Army (Rifle Platoon), then it really gets scary.

hmmmm. Some serious real life good advice on the AE forum. a nice change....

I'm trying to enjoy them. But WitP can get in the way at times! Thus my hesitation in trying PBEM - my opponents just might get a little upset at my constant excuses for late turns - "the kids had soccer again....the kids had an assignment .... the kids were on holiday....etc.". The sacrifices we make....

I’m actually fifty-one on the twenty-sixth of this month, and maybe I don’t look it, but I feel like it. At my age you have to be careful that one does not get to far up one’s self. So I make shaw that I have a really good laugh at myself at least once a day.

Ah, Mr Sneer (curse his black heart) dares to show his face.  It is not the consumption of time you should be worried about my old foe, but the consumption of your corrupt and evil empire by my valiant men of the West !

oh no
Raverdave :)
hardest allied player i know to date :)

lots of old players around  - i feel in right place :)

as for consumption of corrupt .... i doubt new engine will allow blitzkrieg once more
but who knows ...
i'm even tempted - let the ancestors spirits don't notice that - to even play this game as allied side :)

Ha !   You never managed to master the leading the evil empire of the rising sun and now you want try your pathetic attempts as the allies?  :)

I recommend that you stick to playing checkers or maybe even sudoku  if you want to be stretched.
