khyberbill -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 12:03:31 AM)

Welcome back, your AAR against Raverdave is the first one I read from start to finish.

Chad Harrison -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 4:28:33 AM)

Same here, enjoyed your AAR. You two have a rematch setup for AE? [:D]

Flying Tiger -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 6:53:04 AM)

I saw Raver snooping around the forum the other day. Nice to see the old timers coming back for more.

Sneer -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 8:33:10 AM)

i'm a bit scared of AE in terms of time consumption but ...
it is good to be back on board

so when is AE expected ???[:D]

CV Zuikaku -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 10:34:23 AM)

It's Floating Head and Hands Man![:D]

Xargun -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 3:14:01 PM)

We have been reliably told by Matrix that AE will be released before the end of July. My guess is middle of next week [:D] So get your life in order this weekend gentlemen - for next week there is no life other than AE...

Terminus -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 3:15:56 PM)

What is this "life" of which you speak?

Flying Tiger -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 3:21:19 PM)

i also have a 3 year old. And a 5 year old. And a 7 year old.

Whatever 'life' i had passed me by years ago!!

drw61 -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 3:27:26 PM)

Enjoy them while you can. My youngest of three moved back to Tampa last year, the house is just to quiet now.

You’re in the best part mate… wait till they grow-up (twenty now) and join the Army (Rifle Platoon), then it really gets scary. [&:]

hmmmm. Some serious real life good advice on the AE forum. a nice change....

I'm trying to enjoy them. But WitP can get in the way at times! Thus my hesitation in trying PBEM - my opponents just might get a little upset at my constant excuses for late turns - "the kids had soccer again....the kids had an assignment .... the kids were on holiday....etc.". The sacrifices we make....

Now c'mon DP. I saw a webcam shot of you on the main WitP forum - there is no WAY you have 20+ yr old kids!! Or do you guys start REAL young in kiwiland?

Sneer -> RE: AE on horizon (7/23/2009 5:17:18 PM)

I’m actually fifty-one on the twenty-sixth of this month, and maybe I don’t look it, but I feel like it. At my age you have to be careful that one does not get to far up one’s self. So I make shaw that I have a really good laugh at myself at least once a day. [;)]

morganbj -> RE: AE on horizon (7/24/2009 1:19:31 PM)

51?  A mere pup.  [:'(]

Raverdave -> RE: AE on horizon (7/24/2009 3:01:54 PM)

Ah, Mr Sneer (curse his black heart) dares to show his face.  It is not the consumption of time you should be worried about my old foe, but the consumption of your corrupt and evil empire by my valiant men of the West !

Sneer -> RE: AE on horizon (7/24/2009 4:13:33 PM)

oh no
Raverdave :)
hardest allied player i know to date :)

lots of old players around  - i feel in right place :)

as for consumption of corrupt .... i doubt new engine will allow blitzkrieg once more
but who knows ...
i'm even tempted - let the ancestors spirits don't notice that - to even play this game as allied side :)

Raverdave -> RE: AE on horizon (7/25/2009 9:08:20 AM)

Ha !   You never managed to master the leading the evil empire of the rising sun and now you want try your pathetic attempts as the allies?  :)

I recommend that you stick to playing checkers or maybe even sudoku  if you want to be stretched. [:D]
