We noticed the issue with the WP's in the XIBL awhile back. Below is what I observed and posted in their forum quote:
After looking at the leaders in WP for past seasons, it appears to me that its just some kind of display issue. Looking at Ronald Packard, we have: - 26 in the first two weeks of this season - 27 in 2018 (97.2 IP) - 22 in 2017 (213.2 IP) - 16 in 2016 (163.1 IP) - 12 in 2015 (237 IP) - 7 in 2014 (98 IP) - 3 in 2013 (142 IP) Now, if you look at career totals from the dropdown list, it shows Packard with 26 career WP's. Thats less than it said he had in just the 2018 season alone. What it looks like to me is that the game is displaying the career totals (or something very close) for the player, after the first game of the season, then adding the few he might actually have for the current season as the games progress. I bet for Packard, he had 3 in 2013, then in 2014 the game displayed him as having 3 after the first game but he really had 4 for the season (totaling 7 for career), then in 2015 it showed 7 after the first game, he really had 5 more for the season (totaling 12 for career), etc...... Keep an eye on Packard, but I bet at the end of this season it will show him with 30-31 WP (the 26 it gave him after the first game + the 4 or 5 he is actually going to throw this season)
