I'll have to get around to buying the thing first. Will probably be a few weeks.

But, a BoB PBEM with me as the Luftwaffe will definitely have my interest.

Cool. I'm limited on time until November as I'm on a course until then, and it's harder than I thought it would be after I said it was going well this morning

I've also got myself an idea for an Allied AAR for the BTR campaign

I do not know much about the game , is it as complex/time consuming as AE ? should I give it a whirl ?

Pretty much as complex. Although it just focusses on the air war it goes into great detail on the subject. Primary targets, secondary targets, flight path routing, escort delay, pre and post strike recce, production, strike altitudes, patrols, real time interception...

If you've got plenty of spare time and you like the subject matter then I'd say yes. It's right up my street in terms of my interest in the subject

It looks interesting. I had contemplated earlier versions but never got around to it. I have an Allied game against the AI goinng in AE, but it is more for learning purposes so I am moving very quickly. I think I will buy BTR and give it a shot. I like that theatre as well. And it intrigues me to focus on one aspect of the war as well.

Sounds good. Like I said, it'll be a bit before I can buy it any way, and I have to get properly acquainted with it first.

Between AE and BTR, it will be difficult to find time for sleeping. Overrated anyway.

Things will hopefully be a bit quieter around here now, since there's obviously a considerable demographic overlap between AE and GGEDtBtR...

Then I would say you got a pretty good deal . Paying 15$ per hour to have fun is not bad at all !

"Spent" $100, not lost.

Sounds like a good time to me. Now, compare 6.5 hours to how many of hours of fun you have already had from AE. Some of the price whiners just kill me.

I should have quite while I was $140 up...but that was not the point of going for a few hours.
