HH I know you're fully informed of the situation down south. But we (your avid AAR readers) want to point out:
You've still got to solve the bridge problem near Gallipoli. If the turks are still being supplied then they might even breakthrough your SAG lines. Where are you going to get the reserves from then?
Not sure how strong the AA is from the Turkish Army, bombing the bridge would be 1 solution, capturing the bridge till relief comes is another solution. But you'd need a tonne of paras to hold the bridge against the Heavy Turk armour.

But maybe the only way is to land a battlegroup of engineers and armour to blow the bridge the next turn.

Whatever, the turkish solution must be found soon, otherwise the other nations will chew you up.

And your AAR will have have to come to a sudden end.

As Exil has pointed out. Whatever may be going on up North is not as important as destoying the Turks right now so they can't break through SAG and run wild throughout Balkin lands.

Here is my plan for this turn.

What about your BB's can't they do some shelling?
Cut down some of the enemy? Destroy morale of turkish units?

Balkin forces pulverize the trapped Turkish forces, and in no small part to the heavy Naval bombardment on the critical breakthrough points.
The famed 104th anti-armor corps is charged with the defense of Gallipoli.
I think next turn the SAG will be able to invade Turkey.

This plan looks to be a stunning success. Thanks to all for the ideas.

Sorry Exil. I forgot to mention that in my plan. The BB's were a critical part of the operation.

I noticed.

Looks like you seem to have sealed the fate of the Turkish Empire.

Good job, well executed.
And as the AI has no reserves, other than some new units it produces, I think this battle sealed their fate!
Having said this, I still feel somewhat shaken by the sight of that 72 BB force.... I'm not used seeing units like that. What will the AI come up with next? 100 Bombers?? (then you would need something like 30 FlakIII) By the way, if you capture the base of those BB's they'll run out of supply pretty quickly, making them harmless.

Here are the total kills versus loss for round 24.

I will post a map of the Entire front shortly.

Remember, once you get you land units across the kill zone you need to steamroll the Turkinsh AAA, then bring in your air and finish the job while transferring your units North !

Here is the situation map at the end of round 24.

The NAG is in a seesaw battle with the Scandanavians. Soldiers on the ground are affectionately calling the bulge in the lines around Prague "Hamburger Valley". As the whole area has become a bit of a meat grinder.
To General Boneheads delight, it looks as though the Balkin air force may be begining to get an advantage over the Scandanavians.

Exactly my thoughts
You know the sad thing with strategy games like this is that you can go on a vacation, enjoy the sun on a far away beach.... and then it suddenly comes to mind: "hmmm, how am I gonna beat that AI? Will I take and hold Istanbul?" And so on. I had it with Panzer General years ago, with John Tillers Campaign series, and with AT too.
Anyways, hope you did have a great holidays.

The only explanation is girlfriend/wife intervention. Hardware failure would have been resolved by now.
