Last time we heard from you the employment ship was nosing over into a death spiral. Any update on that?

...and how goes things in Denmark T?

BTW, I hear the UN has released the Top 10 Best places to live list for this year. How is it that Denmark did not make the list? It's about the only Scandinavian country not on the list. I think you all got screwed.

Need I say more?

I just finished managing a new release of our flight dynamics modeling tool kit. That may have been the fastest, most shoot from the hip project I've ever managed. due to a lack of resources and IMHO questionable business needs. Thankfully, I think we did ok...somehow. I also finished getting my PMP for whatever that's worth. I'm now beating the streets pretty hard for work. I just got my first "interview" line up and I'm learning the fine art of BSing...I mean networking through LinkeIn. ;)

Personally my mood is swinging from shear panic and terror at the thought of finding a job in this economy to giddy excitement over the prospect of some much needed change.

Yeah, that just leaves two questions:

- How does this synch up with another recent survey that claimed Danes were the happiest people in the world?

- Why are we wasting our time even looking at these meaningless lists?

Yeah, you should come visit and lose a few thousand pounds. Then you'd only be grotesquely fat...

- Perhaps they found Denmark too happy and were suspicious. I'd blame it on the collective psychic damage inflicted by by being forced to read Hamlet.

- Reason #46 for the Thread.

Easy. No massive waves of third-world immigrants.

Why do we look at anything that is essentially ubiquitous? Because it is there....
