So, I'm still on the fence about buying Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich, been following the game for many years and own the two originals from Talonsoft, but due to timeconstraints I have a very hard time getting in more than a one or two hours a month into any specific game, now I'm wondering, is anyone here playing the game with a macromanagement approach? I.e. you let the AI handle most of the micromanagement, but you give more of the larger orders and overall theatre control? A bit of a 'blurry' question I know, but recently I've found I simply don't have the time to put into these deep strategic games like I used to, hence why I'm wondering about how fun people are having trying to play it macromanagement style? This is also partially due to the fact that I have a hard time doing stuff like PBEM games, so I mostly play against the AI, and thus by having the AI handle most of the order giving like I did in the old BTR, it made it more challenging to play against the opponent AI as well! Thanks for any insights etc. I really do want to buy this game but due to the financial crisis my own personal economy is kinda straining as it is!
