If a tanks is destroyed in a campaign and the crew lives through the battle, does the crew take control of the new tank if it is replaced?

It should, but I think that if you upgrade the vehicle or had most of the crew ko'd and replaced then the exp will probably go down some.

When any core unit is damaged/destroyed in a campaign (even if the crew is destroyed) after the battle is completed a repair option is given with a repair point value based on your score and success rate which will allow you to repair and or change any core force unit. So in short NOT automatically, but it gives you the option to repair/change what you want.

Thanks for the clarification. Noticed your absence hereabouts the last few days. Uncle Sammy cut you loose for a few days off?

To the best of my knowledge, they do. As long as part of the crew survives, so should the kills. As far as the experience goes, I think it depends on what kind of replacements you get and how many casualties you suffered and that is time frame dependant. I have seen early war German units get whacked (completely) and their replacements have better stats, no kills though, than the original crews. Late war and it's a different story.

Haven't missed a day, it's just been a little slow where my usless, ongoing babbling hasn't been required much. Check the other sub-forums and main forums I've been here in the hiding in background.

Don't knock yourself too hard, your comments and suggestions seem to make more sense than most. BTW, how is the status thingie that appears next to an individuals name determined in these posts? i.e. recruit, trooper, veteraa, etc., etc. ?

Let me throw in a guess here:

Recruit: 1-49

Trooper: 50-249 (?)

Veteran: 250-999

Hero: 1000-???

Thanks gmenfan. Am I correct in thinking that no matter how mant times you post to a specific thread ,it's still only counted as 1 post right?
