In my game vs the J-AI it's Feb 43 and it looks like the Japanese have 23,000 plus troops on Wake. I'm thinking life must be pretty miserable on that little Island with that many soldiers bumping in to each other every day. Maybe I should just run a carrier group by there from time to time to add to their misery? Seems like a good little prison to me.

Think of the supply and troop losses to over-stacking!

The AI landed 12000+ troops on Canton early in the war to take it back from me.  It took them several months to get enough of them back off to get down below the supply/disruption penalties.  I guess my cruiser TF's operating out of Suva and Palmyra didn't help them much with that either...

That's right. The AI isn't suffering from this one iota.

That's just not right.  Giving the AI some bennies is one thing..., but letting it play by a different set of rules is too much.

This is more proof that the AI is a greater challenge than PBEM.

Thus, playing vs. AI is the best, most satisfying method of enjoying WitP:AE.

Actually, in playing the Japanese AI in Scen 8, I am holding Wake.  The AI has landed a Division, a Air HQ & a Base Force.  AV was 482.  They have been there for over 2 months.  Recon shows only 9602 Japanese left there, but any attack still hits 482 AV.  I landed a Marine Regiment and 2 brigades of artillery and shelled them until supply ran out( that many units really eats up supply, they go through it faster than a dozen supply convoys can deliver it).

This part of the game is broken badly, IMHO.
