Good afternoon chaps.  It was an early, and slippery drive at 5 this morning   It damn well snowed again last night and the local streets were paved with ice.  Josh's op went well so I'm a happy chap again, but they're keeping him in overnight again because he's so young and he was under general anesthetic.  He wasn't a happy boy not being able to feed for the 4 hours before the op, I could hear him bawling before I got onto the ward

Great news, Martin!

Should've been back at work today as well, when I found out Josh was having to stay overnight tthey told me to have tomorrow off as well I get worried when workplaces are reasonable, especially when I only asked for a couple of hours off to drive to the hospital and back.

Glad to hear the surgery was a success! Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The wife of the Northern Irish first minister has been caught having an affair with a teenager. Her name is Mrs. Robinson...

It's almost too easy...

It has. It would seem that I'm not as indispensible as I thought, if they'd been any more keen then they would've been phoning me and telling me not to bother

Hi everyone.

1 - busy like hell at work. BigBoss waiting "his" summary 2009 with no patience, so
a good bunch of stress
2 - exam closer and closer (monday-tuesday next week). So even more stressed
3 - some troubles with the mental of Wife unit- so some stress

if ever someone know how to handle this stress by "legal" means ( ), i would be grateful !

(by the way, did you notice i only complain ? Must be some kind of national behavior )

A cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit does it for me.

Then again, the Brit version of overreacting is saying "bollocks" in a voice slightly louder than that normally used indoors.

So Steve and i could be related cousin

Even more disturbingly, you and T could be related.

Well, the Priors came to England with Big Billy back in the Big One of 1066 and decided Oxfordshire was a nice place to live to settled there. Some of them went on to help conquer Ireland and there's still a small enclave of Priors on the wets coast of said place.

My mother's family have lived in North Devon since the dinosaurs were kicked out for crapping on the lawns.

I would love to know my family history that far back. Unfortunately, most of my ancestors seem to have been illiterate and of no great importance in the general swing of things.

One rainy Sunday afternoon, a young couple were on their way to their Church to get married. On the way there, their car lost control and slammed into a telephone pole - killing them both instantly. The couple soon found themselves standing in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, welcoming them to Heaven. The young woman asks Peter if they could get married in Heaven, since their time on Earth was cut short. He replies that he'll get back with them on that request. A month later, St. Peter finds them and announces that they can - in fact - get married in Heaven. To his surprise, the woman asks "Just wondering, if things don't work out will we be able to get a divorce?" With a stern look in his eye, Peter blurts out "Look lady, it took me a month to find a preacher up here... you really think I'm gonna find a lawyer?"

I love it!

Because Scott said something funny without using a single emoticon?

Good afternoon chaps.  It was an early, and slippery drive at 5 this morning   It damn well snowed again last night and the local streets were paved with ice.  Josh's op went well so I'm a happy chap again, but they're keeping him in overnight again because he's so young and he was under general anesthetic.  He wasn't a happy boy not being able to feed for the 4 hours before the op, I could hear him bawling before I got onto the ward

Did he pee on anyone else?
