Martin, this and the one in Zagreb (I posted picture few days ago here) is just one of the few survivers... and there were thousands and thousands of them...

Got a meeting with a headhunter this morning. Pretty sure she's British. Should I impersonate the GEICO gecko?

It also dawned on me how badly my sleep cycle is out of whack. Barely opened my eyes at 7:30.

Morning tithe... The woman formerly known as PRHN showed up at my department on Monday morning for a social call.

I first saw her at a distance, and had to take a moment to remind myself if I'd landed on my ass or my head on Friday...

How long did it take you to notice you were drooling?

Actually, I think I'm done. Just finishing my coffee and thinking of how I can iron my shirt with my eyes closed without hurting myself.

No, but you should take on the effects of a gentleman. Say 'what what' and 'I say'. End the interview with 'right then' and you'll be right as rain.

Wait a minute...did you actually *want* this job? If so, please 'disregard'.

If that flight over the Hudson a few months back was any indicator, I'd look in the slipstream or engine exhaust...

I will bet you money (though I dont have much of it left) that I would have better chances of landing a job if I had a Brit accent. I think that Americans are just predisposed towards it.

Those were geese, not ducks. Jeez, you'd think a vet would know the difference.

I just noticed that we also got a dusting of snow overnight. Just enough to be pretty, not enough to be annoying.

Thank you Mike.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, and British efficiency, guys.

Of course, she could be Australian, in which case I'm screwed.
