Well here's my thoughts on the whole thing, it really is too bad to see a guy that put alot of work into this game banned over a troll. I'm a rather new customer here, but I will admit I read the WITP forums for years but never joined I was too scared to buy WITP because of the learning curve I really wish I had taken the plunge earlier but anway, I think this is a great game and the amount of work put into it is amazing and I can't believe they banned a guy that put a couple of years of work into it as I'm guessing an unpaid volunteer because of one jerk who has nothing better to do than to troll for fights. Matrix should have backed up JWE and not the troll. I've seen the dumb fights people pick here and I just avoid them not worth wasting my time arguing with an anonymous internet tough guy with an axe to grind. I just read the AAR's and THE THREAD!!! and some of the great help threads on game questions and the community here for the most part is pretty nice and will answer your question's no problem. It's really too bad that a couple of people gotta ruin it for everybody else well anyway kind of a ramble but these are my thoughts on what happened.

Kind of same feeling for me:
i don't understand that people get banned without a bit of inquiry. That doesn't seem fair and just. A few talk with a bunch of people that are usual customer of the forum could enlight who has failed and who tried to keep polite.
I could have the choice to look at forum in my main language for Witp, but they don't reach the level of information that i find here, and i have "good friends" here (so far someone can make friends on internet). That's why i stay here.

If really no quick inquiry is made before banning every side for a trolling affair, why threadster not just ignore them ? Green button is supposed to be for this ? This is a "polite" way to ban someone,no ?

I just add that i am sad for the goods guys that get banned from here, or that just retire because they were fed up.

edited for typo and also trying to be more understandable in english

Hi all,

My new minion started today. She is the smallest fully-grown adult human being I've ever met that wasn't a dwarf. If she's 4 feet 11 inches tall, that's maximum.

I stood next to her at one point while she was sitting down, and I got something close to vertigo when I looked down at her.

We have one here as well... she is 35-40 kg at the most (for you guys over the big pond that is just about 80 punds)... BTW, she is very good worker and person!

Hello Tithe.

I am struggling with the consequences from my military excercise on friday.

I have giant blisters under/around my feet, the skin on my calves(?) was rubbed away in 6cm- scale wounds by bootlegs,

and thats not all of them.

UARG!

And for those of you who thought the Superbowl was big news....

Tonight sees a sporting spectacle the likes of which have not been seen for many a year as Lincoln City fight to stave of relegation from League 2 against bottom side Darlington.  Forget the glamour and glitz of big money franchise sports in America, this is where real quality athletes* are made or broken in the chilly rain swept fields of competition.  Victory here would see Lincoln leap, er stagger is a better word, slightly further away from the relegation mire.  Defeat would see them carrying on the proud traditions of the club's recent seasons.

* Well, those who weren't good enough for the Premier League.  Or Championship.  Or League 1.  Or a good team in League 2.  They're better than the Scottish Leagues though.  Well mostly, probably.  Maybe not good enough fot the Scots Premier League.  Or Division 1.  But definately better then Div 2 or 3, and certainly better than the national league of the Solomon Islands.

Damn, that's bad news. Here we can put a man on the moon but we can't watch this match tonight across the pond (where's that tearful emoticon when I need it?)

Nah, I'm just venting because I've got a server down all because I pointed a backup process last night at the wrong place.

And we are half-way through day five of "Snow-pocalypse" (as it has been so declared by our President) and DC is waiting with bated breath for the next 20+ inches of snow. Frankly , I perfer "snow-mageddon" .

The government is closed (again) , the Metro is finally back up ,(but preparring to shut down as soon as the accumulation hits 8", little of the previous snow has been removed, airports and trains have just restored service , and are preparring to shut down. They opened just long enough to evacuate all the stranded tourists.

And I'm finally catching up on reading and watching old movies and long dead TV shows (on DVD).

The amazing thing to me , was on Friday at nine AM the stores had been picked absolutely empty by people in panic due to the on comming storm! It looked like the aftermath of some 3rd world disaster! I mean seriously , do you need to stock up cat litter and air freshner before the storm?

Well, truth be told, you've never been really competent at ignoring it and walking away, Steve. We've had that discussion a couple of times.

Yuri, let me concur with you that I respect at least jwilkerson who moderates the Witp forums. I may not agree with his overly nice approach at times, but as has been said before, he may not have the choice considering Matrix's current approach.

We can contribute in a limited to way to helping by diligently pointing out the trolls and giving them the big GB. If the helpful folks will do this, it will go a long way toward protecting them from drive-by's like JWE succumbed (and me as well in the not so distant past). I've hopefully learned my lesson.

Same thing happens down here before a hurricane. At least you have some place (out on the window sill) to put the perishibles if the power goes out.
