ORIGINAL: Grollub I noticed ... and you're right - Mission of Honor isn't out yet. I am, however, a long time customer of Baen Books and their partner Webscriptions. This means that I frequently get offers to buy an ARC (Advance Reader Copy - qoute from Webscriptions; "This is an unproofed manuscript and is guaranteed to be full of typos and error. It is pretty much raw from the authors word processor. But you get the entire ARC well in advance of even the WebScription release") It's the sequel to "At All Costs". At the same time, it meshes this storyline with the "Honor"-side of both the "Torch of Freedom" and "Storm from the Shadows" storylines. I won't comment on what happens - I wouldn't want to spoil your experience So I get to see all the mistakes Weber makes while typing? And if you tell me youre active on the Honorverse board I think I might actually faint. Just finished re-reading the seiries for the third time (my wife is currently just finishing it--she wants a tree-cat!). You know Yuri , you might like the Lt. Leary series. While Honor Harrington is based on CS Forrester , the Leary books by David Drake, is based upon Patrick O'Brien's. And I recall that you liked those books very much! Speaking of Military fiction , my wife just saw Sharpe's Rifles, and wants to read the books! Heck at this rate , in a year I'll have her playing WITP! Concerning the Lt. Leary series, I agree. I envy you your wife ...
