My condolences Scott.

Thanks guys, one of my half brothers died of a massive heart attack, he was 47.

Scott, that's terrible news. How awful for your family and his. Very sorry for your loss...such a young age too...

Interesting little side story on monitors... My department has to be REALLY specific in the sort of monitors we buy for cardiac ultrasounds and other examinations. Has to be good quality monitors to see everything correctly. For the same reason, the rooms where the ultrasounds are done have old-fashioned black-out curtains on the windows. Can't have the sun reflecting off the screen.

Another little story from the hospital world: I read the news about Bill Clinton's recent heart procedure and automatically switched all the general words and phrases describing it for the correct medical terms in my head. Guess I'm a seasoned veteran now...

Won't be long now before you're using words like cardiomegalic in casual cocktail party conversation, T. Erm...do you go to casual cocktail parties?

Hmmm ... looks like the Jap ASW thread is about to go down in flames soon, just as someone predicted.

It went down in flames at post #3 on page #1.

Hmmmm....you're right. Interesting. Very high correlation of threads going down in flames with a particular poster, isn't there? Most curious.

Slept until 1000 and there's about 3 inches of snow outside.  Just enough to make everything pretty without making the roads slippery.

Wireless adapter pissing me off. GFU's laptop works fine....but my desktop gets "limited or no connectivity" until I reset the router.

While I'm absolutely sure that T is fond of tails (especially that attached to redheads) I don't see him as being a dress-up sort of guy. Good slacks and a jacket maybe , but ties , black or otherwise just doesn't fit his profile...

I have to say that I am very disappointed in you guys not contributing today. It seems everyone is busily watching the Olympics.

BTW Dutch mania for speed skating is really very endearing.

Youre not supposed to strangle yourself.....unless youre into that kind of thing.....in which case I dont want to know.....but you and Pas would probably have something to talk about.

True. Using terms as "over-nerfed" and combining that with some unsubstantiated rumours, sort of sets the tone for the whole thread. :-/

He and his cronies, spence and mdiehl do that.
