I have to say that I am very disappointed in you guys not contributing today. It seems everyone is busily watching the Olympics.

Busy with the family this morning and afternoon, went out for a very rare romantic dinner with the wife and got a sitter for the kids tonight. Very nice. Tomorrow we're going to Water Park of America in the (of course) Mall of America.

Back in time tonight to see the short track finish and the women's mogul competition. Watched about 30 seconds of that beat down in women's hockey in Canada v. the Czech Republic.

So, sir spammalot: did you get 170 posts in the last day or am I misreading your post count?

Serious damage?

No I had a giant Phallic symbol drawn on my car window with some sort of marker that washed off when I got home. Just annoying it happened to a couple people's cars, probably some kids screwing around on a Saturday night I'll look at the security tapes tommorow.

Hi all,

Happy Valentine's day to all fellow threadsters who are in relationship...

My wife and I went to small Greek restaurant on Friday evening (didn't want to be in "Valentine's day rush" on Saturday and Sunday)...

Let me get this straight. There's the biggest mall in the world, something like a mile and a half on a side, and that has a water park in it, and you guys are going to a water park in the dead of winter?

Yes (actually there's one in Calgary made by the same developers that's slightly larger); yes; yes and yes. I do like it when I can communicate clearly, Onime...

So this is what I use for a desktop background (it's free). Set it to center it on the International Date Line and it's also centered on the AE theater of operations!

http://codefromthe70s.org/desktopearth_dl.aspx

Here's a (rather poor resolution) picture from their web site - the day/night terminator displays realistically and updates as often as you set it to.

If I remember correctly, there was a Russian serial killer nicknamed "The Beast", who killed in excess of 50 people and ate some of them. If I went off and killed all the people on the Matrix forum who need to be put out of my misery, I'd make him look like Pippi Longstocking.

G'night, y'all...
