Do you have some obligatory time to remain at old work Simon or you just can transfer to new job immediately?

Grits is a collective noun.

Cllective noun? That sounds vagely communistic. I'm glad you were paying attention to your grammar teacher. I wasn't. (Or spelling either).

Well....my mom was a grammar teacher. I paid attention whether I wanted to or not.

Vegamite makes good survival food. You know damned well you won't touch it till your starving! And even then you might not!

There are fates worse than death.

You mean, like sitting through an entire performance of anything by Wagner? Or watching any movie with Kevin Costner in it?

Silverado is pretty good

I really liked For Love of the Game, but that had much more to do with Kelly Preston than Kevin Costner.

My biggest problem with Costner is (other than that he couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag) is that he always has this aura of self-absorption and arrogance about him, even when supposedly in character. "Me, me, look at me, I'm the center of this movie and nothing matters but me and what I do." If you can kick him over to the side, yes, as you guys point out, you may be able to enjoy the rest of the movie (I gritted my teeth through "Bull Durham" just because the non-Costner part of it is so entertaining). Lawd help you, though, if you get corralled into watching something over which he had any kind of artistic control.

I tried twice (once on my own, once at the behest of a girlfriend) to make it through "Dances With Wolves." Sorry. No chance.

After seeing a picture of an entire canned chicken, and now this, i am happy to eat french food

I concur completely, my friend. I would add Indian and Moroccan cuisine as well.

Not yet. Let's just say that ole Barb wasn't much of a looker.

Seems to me where I grew up there was a certain association with girls' names. "Barb" was always homely, a little heavy, usually wore glasses, and got good - but not excellent - grades. "Maureen" was always big and very big on kissing. "Jackie" was the svelte, blonde, homecoming/prom queen type who made all the other girls dream in secret of vitriol throwing. "Sharon" was the cheerleader voted "most likely to give the starting backfield a good time in the back seat of the football away game bus." "Sueann" was the local punch, but all the guys wanted to get next to her anyway, just to see what it was all about. "Donna" was the sluttily good-looking chick who was intimidating and often making it with a married man. "Nancy" was frequently homely and wound up getting pregnant.

Ah, the good old days and the good old girls. Back when "safe sex" meant making sure the car doors were locked.

Thats a chinese fire pot.

Inside is a piece of live coal, outside a ring of hot water and you can cook your food yourself.

Sounds fine, but having a vulcano in front of me on the table isn´t really what i like.

And there were 7 another on the table inside of a small room.

You can imagine what happened to the air inside

Sorry man, but that sounds like an unfortunate incident waiting to happen.

Eric, ol' buddy, I know French cuisine has some....lets call them peculiarities, but I would take those over canned chicken (which looks like it might have died a natural death) and Vegemite any day.

We had a Kiwi faculty member that had an affection for the stuff. I made the mistake of trying it...twice. Nope. I'm with AW1Steve on this one-it's pretty rancid.

My God... You blasphemers, degrading our sacred and spiritual toast spread!

I am shocked, and saddened by this affront to our national toast spread!

Great coaster.

Mike, please note the small font on the label. "Proudly made in Australia since...".
