Enemy landings at Cooktown today I am going to start to collapse my perimeter a little around townsville taking advantage of the rought terrain Means giving up Cloncurry but I can live with that Cairns is also probably undefendable, My Fuel woes continue no matter what I do Australia and NZ cannot get enough fuel to allow the fleet to operate - despite the need for them to be there I need to pull out no and stay out. I simply cannot operate a fleet in this area yet. Fuel resources are to low and the LOC to long. Annoying as I have fuel at SF/PH and Capetown but I cannot get enough to stop my economy using it all. The Cruiser TF at the bottom is almost totally out of gas if KB is close they are toast, AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR Apr 10, 42 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Submarine attack near Trivandrum at 27,44 Japanese Ships SS I-162 Allied Ships xAK Alphard, Torpedo hits 1, heavy fires, heavy damage xAK Alphard is sighted by SS I-162 SS I-162 launches 4 torpedoes at xAK Alphard -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Night Time Surface Combat, near Stewart Island at 95,187, Range 8,000 Yards Japanese Ships AMC Akagi Maru AMC Kiyosumi Maru Allied Ships CA Houston CA Chicago CA Australia, Shell hits 1 CL Leander CL Achilles CL Adelaide DD McCall DD Benham DD Ellet DD Dunlap DD Fanning DD Mahan DD Drayton DD Alden DD Edsall DD John D.
